Darius Greer began singing in his church choir at the age of 3. He was usually very shy until singing or performing. He discovered his love for music at an early age, entering school talent shows and placing no lower than second for four consecutive years in grade school. Darius also performed in local productions. At age 12, Darius worked with Ms. Pat Alford, for a local children's theater performing in the musical, "I Believe In Make Believe" which he later won "Best Supporting Child Actor". Darius never took voice lessons but worked closely with his favorite music teacher, Jean Hammons. Darius, having a very different sound, was often teased for his high pitched voice which kept him from singing for awhile. Ms. Hammons, being his very first music teacher, and Darius reunited when he began high school. He auditioned for his high school choral group where he met very talented people. In his senior year, along with Ms. Hammons, he co-wrote and starred in a musical. Since graduating Darius has been writing his own music, hoping to one day fulfill his dream of doing what he's loved to do.
