Yay for haiku dedicated to this dub! Hee hee!
First off I'd like to say that this dub is somewhat of an apology for never finishing the First I Want to be Your Canary dub, which was way too complicated for its own good and had been up in the air for about a year. Plus, I'd lost my former Blank voice actor. Moment of silence...
But this dub only took about a month to complete! Which isn't all that much considering the complexity of it. I really, really like this one! The overlapping dialogue, Zidane meeting Garnet, the FMV, STEINER!
Ahh, Steiner. The poor guy—he's such a loyal knight, and yet we laugh at him. But he's so funny XD
Oh, speaking of losing Blank's voice actor, I've now replaced him with CloudcoleVII! Woo! And because the previous voice actor also did Cinna's voice, I now have JCStars5 to do his voice! YAY! JCStars5 is helping me with a dub! This is phenomenal!

Let me tell you, the accents are everywhere in this video :P I think it's fun though ^_^ I was originally going to make "Leene" in the beginning speak with a very fake accent, but then I thought some people might take it the wrong way, so I just didn't, haha.
Some of the battles are kind of weird since the enemies appear and then disappear a second later. I feel that when they defeat Yakra they should have some victory sound, but I didn't think of it in time ^_^;

First of all I'd like to say that this dub is a lot harder than it looks! Movie Maker decided to turn on me and suddenly hate Chrono Cross and there's this whole weird process of me restarting Movie Maker after placing in each voice file. A real pain!!
Anyway, it's not too much, which is probably why (regardless of Movie Maker going evil on me) it was a fairly easy dub. Just Time's Scar and the dream sequence following it.
I actually have a lot of fun dubbing FMVs, especially when I can add sound effects. That's always fun, hehe.
I also put in some sound effects from the original FMVs. I didn't use all of them because to do that would even worse of a tedious job so I just put in what I thought was important.

Please don't hate me ^_^ My friend and I did this because we were reading the Final Fantasy VIII script one day and thought that Laguna's dialogue sounded like a valley girl, and thus this parody was created.
The voice quality is just BAD. Overall the whole thing is BAD but just for laughs and some amusement, I'm uploading it anyway!
It does get a little more serious toward the end when Love Grows starts playing ^_^ But if you're able to get through the entire video to that point is another issue...
I actually didn't digitally deepen my voice for Julia at all. Ha ha!
