Our names are Addison and Cassidy Hempel and this is our YouTube Channel. We are 4 year old identical twins and we are fighting for our lives. We have Niemann Pick Type C (NPC), a fatal brain disorder often referred to as the "Childhood Alzheimer's."

NPC is a rare and fatal disease that is robbing kids like us our our ability to walk, talk, eat or even remember the names of our favorite stuffed animals. NPC causes kids like us to lose our motor skills and then our minds.

Only 500 cases have been diagnosed worldwide yet we may hold critical clues to understanding Alzheimer's and other brain diseases which afflict millions of people worldwide.

We have created these videos to help people understand NPC and to learn how they can help us in our fight against "Childhood Alzheimer's."
