One thing they left out is that Widow-Maker never let anyone but Bill ride him. Anyone who tried wound up dead, which is why he was named Widow-Maker.

For those who don't know, Old Stormalong was an American folk hero. He was a giant seafarer who's responsible for a number of great deeds. Sort of the sailor equivalent of Paul Bunyan.

I've seen the series version of this too and one thing I like better in this is that the well is the gateway. It calls back to an old fairy tale called "Mother Holle" (as well as Alice and her rabbit hole just a bit).

@haileyshmaileyy Because in Japan it's not coinsidered taboo for super-heroes to use guns. Most Super Sentai or Kamen Rider characters have some sort of gun, many of which shot bullets (unlike in Power Rangers where they're replaced with lasers). Heck, Astro Boy, the grandfather of all Japanese...

For the record: 1) There were only two Triforces at the time that show was made. The third one didn't show up until Zelda 2. 2) Video games, even the Zelda ones, were not taken all that seriously back then. So, there wasn't that much of an expectation.

Luigi actually did a little better than Mario in the Mario Bros. movie (contrary to what Luigi said), however that's very small consolation.

Blob doesn't have much articulation, but why would he need it? His whole super-power is standing there and shrugging off whatever he was hit with.

I didn't even know there was a Street Fighter III until SFIV came out. I guess it's one of those games that serious gamers know about more than more casual types like me. It's too bad, because some of those new characters look pretty cool.

@itschenzokid A lot of people dislike it because it was short. Personally, that's why I liked it. It's one of the few games I've actually finished before getting sick of it.

It's strange to see part of the SFIII series getting some appreciation. I didn't even know there was a Street Fighter III until Street Fighter IV came out. I also noticed a distinct lack of Darkstalkers in this list.

Yay! Luigi's Mansion made the list! I liked that game, even if it was a little short.

They seemed to be big on changing names for these properties. Blades from Street Sharks changed into Streex and the Dino Vengers changed into the Extreme Dinosaurs.

This opening had better lyrics than the other one.
