It's highly unlikely the catfish did that, they're more peaceful than a guppy and keep to themselves, so i would say one of the other guppies did it. Was the guppy showing any signs of weakness/sickness? Guppies see signs of weakness and will attack, its best to remove the weak fish, also if that...
