My name is Adam Courtney im a 17 year old self taught pianist/Musician/Composer.
i started playing music at a very young age , my entire family loved and played music and still do today.
when i was about 3 years old i was given a drum set as a christmas present.
I quickly fell in love with drumming , i would play for hours apon hours a day!
when my brother and his band practised i would fill in if there drummer was'nt there.. It might of looked funny, i was just a child but i didnt care as long as i was playing it made me happy!
Thinking back on it now my mother must of nearly went insane from the noise :)
But we all have to start somewhere!

The second leg of my journey started about a year later.
i remember, everyday when i would finish school my mom would bring me to my grandmothers house just to say hello..
Everyday we would go there and hear her playing the piano , She loved to play piano and was extremely good at it :)
i would sit there watching her play everyday watching in amazement.. She always told me that i could have that piano some day , the tought of it made me happy because i was keen to learn!
Over the years that i spent watching and studying how she played i think today my grandmother was the biggest influence in my life..

Today the piano i play on and practise on everyday is that exact piano that my grandmother played on..
I like to think it brings good luck and helps when i compose my music and i know she would be proud :)

I am currently the head pianist in The Barn Resturaunt in Cork and will continue to make music..
My First Song/Music Video 'Rippling Waters' has almost hit 10'000 views and has caught the eye of a great actor and my idle Tom Cruise .. id like to thank my family , friends and everyone who has helped me :)

My Mother always told us that anything is reachable and you can do anything once you put your mind to it.. so true!
To This day i have not taken any lessons or guidance .. i like to teach myself to play and for me i would'nt have it any other way :)
