Got this off one of those internet radio stations some time ago and just love it! One of these days I am going to learn enough Twi to know what Lumba is singing about (not enough Twi is left in Jamaican Patois for me to have any idea.) Beautiful tune.

Some angry comments here. Heck, America has a long way to go. The man did what he thought best at the time (at least I hope he wasn't aiming to make the news himself). But why so much anger?

Me firi Jamaica. Me nso, me sua Twi, but I probably have an easier time of it than most Americans since so much of the Twi vocab and grammar structure remain in our Patois. It is so good to see a West African tongue such as Akan winding itself up the US tertiary education system. Mo!

Cool! Levi, your pleasant gesture with "Na wo nso e?" is now etched in my mind. :-)

I just discovered this UF series of Akan/Twi skits with Levi, and they are wonderful oo! Levi, you are great! You are so natural in the role. Thanks to you and UF.
