@bjon123abc You are correct. In fact, the only character that could max their HP was Cid. Cecil capped at around 9,400, Kain was 8,880, Edge was 7,400-ish, etc. What's funny is in this version (and maybe others) is that Yang gets capped at 5,500 - I think it's a glitch so it might have been fixed...

This music is why Baron got the Red Wings and other Kingdoms like Fabul (ships), Toroia (clerics), and Dymacan (bombed) get the shaft.

Actually, when it was on the SegaCD it was simply called Lunar: The Silver Star. They changed the name to Lunar Silver Star Story Complete for the PSX release.

@TheRobchar Sorry, you are incorrect. First off, in the SNES version I've done it, quite a few times: it requires equipping the Paladin shield and exhausting a lot of Cure 2 potions. @Arcingi You're correct. They didn't implement bosses gaining levels until Lunar: The Silver Star Story Complete; they also removed it from Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete.

Best way to prove this in this game? Fight Borgan at a low level and see how long you last.

With a few tweaks here and there, this would have been an awesome theme when you're fighting ID or Alpha/True Weltall.

Listening to this remix makes me think of when I first fought Magus many, many years ago:

@Serena2009ification I agree 100% - I'm forever annoyed at the lame-ass song that replaced this one in Lunar:SSSC. I know the song is supposed to be more Alex-Luna centric but seriously? It was way too calm compared to this (which shows off how epic this game is).

Every time I watch one of these cut scenes I fully expect Crono to go running full speed at a monster and then yell, "KAIO-KEN...TIMES TWENTY" and proceed to fully beat the ever-loving piss out of someone.

@Duorsa Agreed. I will, however, say that Zernomus in FFIV for the PSX was a bit of a challenge. Of course, it might have been I was having an off day - I ought to go through it again and see if that's still the case.
