An Australian 'revert' to Islam that loves his religion, family and his country.
Naam: Abu Muawwiyah
I'm a revert muslim from an educated family in Australia and am now living abroad. I'm proud of my heritage, my family, my friends and the nation I live in. However, my true love and allegiance is to Islam. I love Islam and I wear my love for it 'on my sleeve' so to speak.

I TESTIFY THAT THERE IS NOTHING WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH AND THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS MESSENGER.

I've set up this website to promote understanding about a number of issues that I feel very stongly about and that are misinterpreted in the media. In lieu of this I have created a number of different 'Playlists' which are themed around particular issues. Three of these 'Playlists' are featured on the right while another is set as my 'Video Log' which is directly below the 3 featured playlists. However, I have others which can be seen by clicking on the playlists icon at the top of the screen. These 'hidden' playlists are named -

* Civl liberties under threat in the west!

* Scourge of Zionism and the plight of the Palestinians.

* September 11 and 7/7 were 'inside' jobs - stop blaming muslims.

* Zaki dawah for my shia bretheren

Please note that some of these playlists may be a little 'bare' as I am stilling adding videos to them.

Calling all atheists - you claim to believe in science. That's fine, because as a muslim I believe in science too! However, science clearly shows there is a creator so please stop 'manipulating' the scientific method to deny the existence of the creator. I don't care if you want to call the creator Allah, God, Krishna, Brahman, Buddha...at least acknowledge that science proves that there is a creator. Don't believe me well watch the following presentations. They are very brief but are right on the 'money'.

Akhi (Black Crow) I disagree with your last comment. Moqtada, Sistani, Khomeini, Nasrullah and co. do represent Shia Islam because they hate the sahaba, encourage mut'ah, matam on Ashoora and believe in the 'infalliability' of the 12 imams. This is why they should call their religion shi'ism and not Islam and call themselves shia and not muslims.

How are your travels friend? Did you get my last couple of messages? Peace be upon you. I have definetly come to the conclusion that the doctrines and laws of the Shia sect have been totally misinterperted by its followers. Its the only logical answer to why people such as Ayatollah (I refuse to name him the title Imam) Khomeini and Moqtada exist and believe what they believe. Shia Islam is totally misunderstood by its own followers.

Of course I am not upset, I encourage you to ask questions and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities insha'allah. However, I just wanted to make my point ie Islam and shi'ism have nothing to do with each other. If I offended you please forgive me as this was not my intention at all.

It was not my intention to have a debate with you or upset your beliefs. I was just stating my knowledge and understanding and I've been study Shia Islam in depth along with Sunni Islam. It is my hope that we can have intelligent conversations and discussions. My apologies if I offended you.

I'm sorry but you misinterpreted me. Sunni (Ahlu Sunnah ie orthodox muslims) will never come together with shia because shia beliefs have nothing to do with Islam at all. This would be like trying to mix oil with water. Thus I make no apologies for exposing their heretical beliefs.

Muhammad (SAW) said that we must not accept heretical beliefs such as those that the shia propagate and that we must expose them, which I and many others are doing on youtube. Moderate 'sunnis' try to accept the shia but that is because they are ignorant or are trying to 'curry' political favour. The shia and their stupid beliefs confuse non-muslims about Islam and that is why I truly despise them with every ounce of my being.

The shia are a religion unto their own and have nothing to do with Islam. Their religion is Shi'ism and they openly call themselves shia. I would be happy if they always called themselves shia and never called themselves muslim.

I agree, the Shia and Sunni, need to come together and disband the sects that have separated themselves from one another.

Unlike Christians we don't force people to convert to Islam. Look what Isabella and Ferdinand did in Spain when they retook it from the muslims. They forced muslims to convert to Christianity or be put to death. It was called the 'Inquisition' if you've never heard of it. Our prophet taught us, "Let there be no compulsion in religion" ie noone CAN BE FORCED to believe in Islam. Maybe Christians could take a 'leaf' out of our book.

If the west stops invading muslim land, killing innocent civilians, raping muslim women and stealing our resources then we may stop killing your dimwitted soldiers. However, as muslims we will forever continue our ideological challenge to your 'capitalist' society just like you do to Islamic society. Thus, I will always engage you intellectually and academically. If you don't like it the internet is a big place to go and get lyourself lost my friend.

Relax. Most of us don't want sharia law. Muslims can still practice their religion, just don't force it on us.
