Unlikely, Lewis was well in to middle age by 1941 and had probably written an early draft for `The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe` by that point.
The BBC knows this very well, he was after all doing some broadcasting for them at this time!

Odd how similar the opening of this actually is to the more recent movie version.
That may have something to do with all the train stuff being shot on the Severn Valley Railway which the film also used but, that bit where the train pulls out of the station to reveal the Pevensie family on the pla...
