I'm not really sure how to answer that. A lot of people have conflicting opinions, just seems to be how it is. I get what you mean though. It defiantly seems like no one agrees sometimes. ^^
Well, that's their problem. I wouldn't dwell on it too much. Why's their opinion matter anyway?
I think a lot of people don't know enough about Japan to fully create an accurate and well-thought through opinion on it. All they see is what the media feeds them and the stereotypes a lot of people assume. Not everyone's like that though. (: We're just harder to find. lol. I don't see what's wrong with Violet eyes. I find them pretty. They just like to steer away from unusual I guess? Well look at the animes that most Americans know about. Very few, and when they do get to us, they're the watered-down, dubbed sort. :/
