Love ... do not Hate

Muslims are trying to portray Islam as a religion of peace; their history is written in blood, but they are peaceful people! This is a testimony of their affection for peace:

Omar Ibn Al Khattab (famous Muslim warrior) invaded the people in El-Sham (Syria and Lebanon, mostly Christians) with his armies and set the following, known as the Omar's Historical Document, as conditions of their surrender:

1) They must not build new monasteries or churches.
2) must not repair old churches
3) must host in churches Muslims and feed them for three days
4) must not host any spies
5) must not hide any deceit from Muslims
6) must not teach their children the Quran
7) must not show any signs of infidelity
8) must not prevent their relatives from becoming Muslims if they wish
9) must show reverence to Muslims
10) must give their seats to Muslims if they desire to sit
11) must not dress like Muslims
12) must not be in areas of Muslims
13) must not use saddles (for horses)
14) must not carry swords
15) must not sell liquors
16) must shave the front of their heads
17) must maintain their dress code wherever they are
18) must wear bands around their waists
19) must not show crosses or their books when passing Muslims
20) must not bury their dead with Muslims
21) must not play musical instruments except lightly (in churches)
22) must not do their prayers in church if Muslims are present
23) must not do outdoor rituals
24) must not raise their voices when mourning their deceased
25) must not show (have) fire
26) must not buy slaves that Muslims wish to buy
And if they break any of the above, the peace treaty is over and they will be treated as enemies.

This is the warrior that Muslims brag about his sense of fairness and integrity as a fighter! So we can guess how the others that did not live up to Omar's reputation behaved.

عبد الرحمن بن غنم : كتبتُ لعمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه حين صالح نصارى الشام، وشرَط عليهم فيه
الا يُحدِثوا في مدينتهم ولا فيما حولها ديراً ولا كنيسة ولا قلاية ولا صومعة راهب
ولا يجدِّدوا ما خُرِّب
ولا يمنعوا كنائسهم من أن ينزلها أحدٌ من المسلمين ثلاث ليالٍ يطعمونهم
ولا يؤووا جاسوساً
ولا يكتموا غشاً للمسلمين
ولا يعلّموا أولادهم القرآن
ولا يُظهِروا شِركاً
ولا يمنعوا ذوي قرابتهم من الإسلام إن أرادوا
وأن يوقّروا المسلمين
وأن يقوموا لهم من مجالسهم إذا أرادوا الجلوس
ولا يتشبّهوا بالمسلمين في شيء من لباسهم
ولا يتكنّوا بكناهم
ولا يركبوا سرجاً
ولا يتقلّدوا سيفاً
ولا يبيعوا الخمور
وأن يجُزُّوا مقادم رؤوسهم
وأن يلزموا زيَّهم حيثما كانوا
وأن يشدّوا الزنانير على أوساطهم
ولا يُظهِروا صليباً ولا شيئاً من كتبهم في شيءٍ من طرق المسلمين
ولا يجاوروا المسلمين بموتاهم
ولا يضربوا بالناقوس إلا ضرباً خفيفاً
ولا يرفعوا أصواتهم بالقراءة في كنائسهم في شيء من حضرة المسلمين
ولا يخرجوا شعانين
ولا يرفعوا أصواتهم مع موتاهم
ولا يَظهِروا النيران معهم
ولا يشتروا من الرقيق ما جَرَتْ عليه سهام المسلمين
فإن خالفوا شيئاً مما شرطوه فلا ذمّة لهم
وقد حلّ للمسلمين منهم ما يحل من أهل المعاندة والشقاق

Omar Ibn Al Khattab (634-644)
Omar ibn al Khattab immediately set to conquering the world and spreading the word of Allah. He became the best conqueror of all the Rashidun Caliph, he took the remainder of Mesopotamia from Persia and the remainder of Syria from Byzantium , hence finishing what Abu Bakr started.
