My name is Josh Metzler, I'm 15 years old, and I'm a singer-songwriter from Gilbert, Arizona :) I was recently cast in the Hub network's new TV show entitled Majors & Minors, where 12 kids were chosen out of 40,000 applicants to take part in a 15-episode series where we will be mentored by recording artists like Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Avril Lavigne, Colbie Caillat, Adam Lambert, Jordin Sparks, Brandy, Mike Posner, Ryan Tedder, Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston, and the amazingly accomplished songwriter Claude Kelly! YOUR support has provided me with incredible opportunities like these, and I'm so thankful for each and every one of you! (The finale of the show aired January 29th, and while I did not win I am SO happy with the results, and could not be more grateful for all the invaluable, lifelong lessons I learned during the process:)

Some things you may want to know about me!
- I am a self-taught guitarist. I took some lessons for piano when I was like... 8 but that doesn't really count :P I also play violin, which I took private lessons for. I have taken a couple vocal lessons with a school choir teacher, but nothing super formal.
- A lot of songs I play are changed up rhythmically, and I also change the key and sometimes I play different chords to suit my rendition better. I like to make my covers more personal and relevant to me.
- I learned guitar in July 2009, self taught like I mentioned, and just kinda picked it up from there. I still have SO much to learn, and I practice whenever I get the time!
- My favorite color is green, all the way!
- I've been getting a TON of comments and personal messages lately, which is so amazing, but that also means I may not have time to reply to every single one of you. Just know, I love you all and your support means more than you can imagine!
- I enjoy feedback more than anything. So don't be scared to leave a comment!
- I would be just as happy with 2 subscribers as I would be with 200,000, I do music because I love it and the fact that you all happen to enjoy it is just an incredibly huge bonus. I LOVE MY FANS!!!
