Please leave the annotations on while watching this entire video. I've added a few important points that I forgot to mention while I was recording the video.
First and foremost. I take no responsibility for any damage done if you attempt this process. This is a simple "how to" for anyone who wants to attempt to fix their PS3 their self instead of paying Sony $150.
Having said that, I've had a lot of people ask for a video of doing a reflow on a PS3 after getting the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) so I decided to make a video of the process.
If you are not sure of your own ability's then do not attempt this. Just pay someone to do it for you or spend the money and send it into Sony.
I had to split this video into two parts so be sure to check out part 2 after this video finishes.
Here is a link to a really good manual wrote by gilksy if you would rather have pictures. http://boardsus.p...

This is it, the revolutionary LCD screen by Pixel Qi that turns your netbook into a Kindle by the flip of a switch. As you can see in this video, thanks to Pixel Qi, screens can now be very usable outdoors in a black and white mode just as well as indoors in full color and bright back light mode.
This is the first batch of the first working prototypes of this screen, and as you can see, it already looks amazing. Mass production of these screens are planned to be launched soon and should be available in any netbook (and later other devices such as smartphones) as long as the manufacturers decide that they want to integrate one in their products.

I was able to fit all this battle in one single youtube video. I'm pretty happy about that considering I died like half a dozen times before I was able to actually beat it for the first time and it took me over an hour when I finally did lol. I had to fast forward the enemy phases in order to fit it under 10 minutes but I think you can still see pretty well what's going during this time.
I've decided to try and take on the project of exploring the possibly of speed running this game. Basically, beating each of these levels as efficiently as possible without power-leveling. That means not only beating each level in under the amount turns required to get "Rank A" but also trying to optimize each action and ultimately achieving the most efficient strategy possible. I'm always looking to improve myself so if you have any tips and tricks leave a comment, video response or whatever.
Here's a quick resume of this battle:
Turn 1: Take out the enemy infantry with sniper and scout. Get the same scout to safety on the far bottom. Use Lancer to take down the first two standing remnants of ruins. Turn 2: No action needed. Turn 3: No action needed. Turn 4: Use a scout hidden behind the wall to hop onto the port side of the Batomys (Boss Tank) and throw a grenade into that radiators. Turn 5: No Action needed. Turn 6: Use a scout hidden behind your tank to hop onto the rear of the Batomys and throw a grenade into that radiators. Turn 7: No action needed. Turn 8: no action needed. Turn 9: Get the scout used in turn 1 to hop onto the starboard side of the Batomys and throw a grenade to blow out the last radiator. Order Demolotion Boost on the Edelweiss. Attack the Batomys 7 times with the Edelweiss and your done.
I'd like to point out what level are my units: - Scouts: 7 - Shocktrooper: 2 - Lancer: 8 - Engineers: 3 - Sniper: 2 I need the Lancers to be level 8 to get Demolition Boost so I can kill the Boss in one single turn. Perhaps it's possible with only Damage Boost since you would have 3 CP left to spare. You could get 1 more tank hit + 1 more Lancer hit but that would take more time so why bother. :) It's would be possible to use a Lancer + Engineer to kill the Boss but that's not as efficient since the Edelweiss does more damage. Plus you'd have to take extra turns to transport the engineer to safety.
