I decided to join the St. Louis Chapter of the ATOS also known as SLTOS. I have learned in a photo album, that the meetings comes with music. Thank you for being my friend. Like I say, there it nothing like the sound of the theater organ.

I had to smile to myself when I saw the paragraph about encouraging young organists. That certainly does not seem to apply in the UK with our societies. If it wasnt for the help and support of the church for restoring my confidence having had it knocked out of me by the theatre organ world, I simply would not be playing now.

I am glad to see this. I am a huge fan of the theater organ myself. My old organ record which was named "35 Organ Favorites" was made on a 4-manual Wurlitzer. There is nothing quite like the sound of a theater organ. If I do join, I can really learn more about the theater organ. Which in turn, I have gotten my first lesson about the grand instrument and that is about the stops. On a church organ, they have either drawbar stops like on a Hammond or stop knobs. But on a theater organ, you have stop tounges.
