I was born into a Christian family went to Christian schools all my school life, studied the bible, went to church did the whole thing, I did all the things I was told to do and supposed to do, yet I was not convinced.
Knowing there was a God why wouldn't he give man kind perfect guidance to life? .....but I convinced myself non existed.
There is no absolute knowledge.
And those who claim it,
whether they are scientists or dogmatists,
open the door to tragedy.
All information is imperfect.
We have to treat it with humility.

I related to that quote once.....
UNTIL....I read the Holy Quran this is the perfect guidance that was given to man kind, there is no doubt that it IS THE WORD OF GOD.
The English translation can not be compared to the beauty and perfection of the Arabic, but having said that; the logic, the sciences and meaning stands up above and beyond any other scripture or any piece of literature.
ONCE having learnt Arabic it only cements the faith in Islam and the perfection of the Quran, which one should expect from the perfect Creator that is Allah (swt).
Allah (swt) sent many messengers through out time no one messenger is greater than the other, but Allah (swt) sent his final messenger and revelation with the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) he was the perfect example for all of man kind to follow.
Allah said in the Holy Quran 21:107
'WE HAVE SENT HIM NOT BUT AS A MERCY TO THE WHOLE OF MANKIND.'
I thank Allah (swt) everyday for giving me Islam; I found peace of mind that no money in the world can buy, Alhumdullila.
I am so very glad that I am a Muslim. Islam is my life. Islam is the beat of my heart. Islam is the blood that courses through my veins. Islam is my strength. Islam is my life so wonderful and beautiful. Without Islam I am nothing, and should Allah ever turn His magnificence from me, I could not survive.

"Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. 2:105
"A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not."3:69
ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Scripture before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.3:186
