Wow, that sounds amazing. There is nothing like that here in Germany. Too bad. I think a TV advent calendar would be fun :( Maybe I sould suggest it to some TV station ;)

My sister puts a star on top of it too. Yeah it really is interesting. There are so many different ways to do things and they are all so ... meaningful!

So I just had to look up the difference between champagne and sparkling wine. Didn't really got it. Sp I'm not sure to which one you're referring. I've never had champagne so I don't know if I like it or not. But I do like sparkling wine :) Do you?

My favorite present was a book called "Ruby Red" by Kirsten Gier. It was so good I read it in one day and bought the other two parts as soon as the stores opened ;) And a beautiful pencil case in a kind of patchwork style. It's so beautiful I like just staring at it ;) What about you?

Have a nice day!

I don't like coffee either. I like some kinds of cappucchino but not when it tastes too much like coffee. A friend of mine once made mousse au chocolat with coffee which was surprisingly good :)

My favorite cookies are a kind of selfmade chocolate chip cookies with cornflakes in it. I also love Oreos and Ballerinas (do you know these? they are from Sweden so I guess chances are high you do. Or maybe not. I'm just assuming because it's both in the North)

Yeah I know that feeling when you really wanna be happy but you just can't. Do you wanna tell me why you have been sad. You don't have to if it's too personal or you just don't want to!

haha that seems to be funny. My friend always screams the name when someone appears she likes or think he's hot - like her screaming Ceddie!!! during Harry Potter and during the first Potter movies: Draco!!! (yeah she liked him/found him hot - I have know idea why). I'm glad she didn't start talking about them :p

No I bought "Never let me go" in August I think. But I got "Happythankyoumoreplease" which is such a sweet movie!

On new Year's Eve it was just my parents and me. Some friends invited me over but I'm not a big new Year's fan so I stayed home. But it was fun - we ate Raclette like each year and then we just talked the whole time and were drinking hot wine punch. What were you doing?

I like CJaye LeRose, Tyler Ward, Elise Lieberth, Tiffany Alvord, Anna Craig and some others I don't remember the names right now ;)

I haven't read "Bridge to Terabithia" but the movie was so great I can imagine that to be true :)
I liked the movie of "Tuck everlasting" better than the book - guess because in the movie the female protagonist is around 17 years old and in the book she's like 10. The movie has a real love story which lacks in the book.

Thanks for wishing me a happy awesome new year :)

Yeah it's so strange. I mean the place I live in isn't exactly a save place to live - we have a high criminality (comparing to other parts of my city) I think. A lot of robberies (but mostly in stores) and attacks on people. But it always was just somewhere in my place - it could be a store I often pass, but even a street I've never been to before. Never did anything happen in my street (okay one time our nieghbours roof burned down but that wasn't anyone's fault).

Ah, I understand. I'm not sure if I've seen it before but it could be.

Thanks Anne. I hope you too had a merry Christmas and happy new year. I am actually not sure how much Gimp and Adobe Photoshop are alike or different. I would guess that Photoshop has more features than Gimp. I have never used PowerPoint for photo editing. Most people where I come from use it to display photos and keywords for speeches. I am certainly finished with Christmas shopping. On another subject, I finally got a chance to watch the last Harry Potter movie recently. Overall, I thought it was really good. The only major flaw in my opinion is that they did not show Wormtail repaying Harry's life debt since he saved him in the 3rd movie and book. I did find it interesting in the movie that Harry was able to break the elder wand in half. I do have to wonder if a magical object that powerful could not be destroyed that way. Do you have any traditions that you like to do for New Years?

No we don't have a Saint Lucia procession here. It's not even a holiday. But I read about it when I was a child, I remember that. Do you know Felix, the rabbit? It's a German children book. It's about a soft toy - a rabbit named Felix - which gets lost. But he isn't really lost - he travels through the world and writes letters to Sophie - his owner. And in one letter we writes about Saint Lucia and explains to her what it is.

What is a TV Advent Calendar?

We put our Christmas tree inside three days before Christmas and I decorated it. That was early because usually I decorate it in the morning of Christmas Eve. And yeah, we celebrate it in the evening of the 24th. I out a drapery bow on the top of it. What about you?

Lovely greetings,
Lena

yeah I know that. Sometimes it's because I don't know anyone who wants to go with me and sometimes I just don't manage to go. Like "One Day" or "Never let me go" or "The Art of Getting by". But I'm going to buy these films as soon as they are out (except for "Never let me go" - already got that one).

Funnily enough I never liked tea either. But this year I started drinking so much tea, I don't even know why. Do you drink coffee? And what are your favorite cookies?

On Christmas it was (and still is) warm. No sign of snow.

Have you been in a christmas mood on Christmas? I hope so!
