Anaheim Public Utilities is a publicly-owned, not-for-profit electric and water utility that is responsible for delivering high quality, economical electric and water utility services to residents and businesses in the City of Anaheim.

Anaheim residents enjoy rates that are among the lowest in California -- electric rates averaging 25 to 40 percent lower than in neighboring cities and water rates that are among the lowest of the 33 agencies serving water to Orange County communities.

In Anaheim, decisions are made by our local leaders regarding our minicipal utilities that are in the best interest of Anaheim customers. Anaheim Public Utilities is governed by a locally elected five-member City Council, which is responsible for determining policy. A seven-member Anaheim Public Utilities Board, appointed by the City Council, serves as an advisory panel to the City Council on all utilities matters. Public Utilities General Manager Marcie L. Edwards is responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of the municipal utilities department. She reports to the City Manager.

Anaheim Public Utilities is one of California's top-rated utility companies, with credit ratings of AA+ for the Water System and AA- for the Electric System.
