NASA claim that Apache Point is used to fire a laser at the retroreflector left on Moon by astroNOTS in 1969. Apache Point was a new laser facility opened in 2005. So basically the astroNOTS left a reflector on the Moon back in 1969, and 36 years later NASA decide to start using it, what BS. Apache Point is only recreating what Prof Louis Smullin and Dr Giorgio Fiocco did back in May 1962, and that is reflecting a laser beam of the Moon's surface.
Notice how the commentator, who incidently is a space scientist herself, states that NASA have been bouncing lasers of the Moon for NEARLY 40 years, maybe someone should tell her that it is nearer 50 years.
Notice also how Dr Macmillan, (the laser operator), states that they only receive 1 photon of light for every 100 quad rillion sent out. Maybe someone should explain to her that it was a waste of time the astroNOTS placing the retroreflector, as Smullin and Fiocco were receiving at least 3 photons of light back from the Moon's surface WITHOUT any reflecter, and with a far less powerful laser than the current one at Apache Point. And they did all this nearly 50 years ago, well BEFORE Project Apollo.
Apache Point staff claim they locate the retroreflector on Moon with a telescope. Considering the retroreflector is the size of a briefcase, then why can't the same telescope be used to show the artifacts left behind by Apollo?
The reason is because the whole scenario of locating a reflector on the Moon, with a telescope, and bouncing a laser of it, is pure unadulterated BS. NASA introduced Apache Point into the media mainstream back in 2005 to counteract the ever growing evidence that the Moon missions were faked. What they failed to take into account was the past history of reflecting lasers of the Moon, they assumed the media wouldn't know anything about it, how wrong they were.

But there are still people like you to remind me that there still are sane people.
