The guy jumping up to touch the wing tip is a crew chief, thats a "pat on the back" if you will to show pride in your jet and wish her a safe flight. Although rare, some of us old crew chiefs will do that from time to time.

Is that a NEW engine, or a used replacement?

I got a Ford Remanufactured 4.6 Liter for my Town Car when the original started knocking. I got it from Engines Direct for $2,500.00 and it runs VERY nice!

I had to replace the engine in my 2001 Cartier Town Car also.

Although I went the alternate route and pulled it with an engine hoist from the front of the engine bay. I had to remove the front bumper to get the hoist hook over the center of the engine before lifting it out. Turned out very well...
