	MegaTeenage (3 months ago) So you came up with a list of 100 organizations that are against new TLDs. So I could develop a list of 200 that favor it. The point is, there is no "consensus" in the sense of unanimity about ANYTHING when it comes to the internet. The fact that your group doesn't like it doesn't mean that the thousands of people who want new TLDs should be blocked. This policy has been in development since 2004. ANA and other brand interests are represented in ICANN's policy making organs such as the GNSO, and they demanded and got all kinds of modifications to the policy in exchange for their support. Now its over and your carping just is irrelevant.
