Thanks to HBO, we may never actually see Shagga wield those axes... the Green Fork was a great scene in the book. Missed completely in series -- by a cop-out no less.

@ElComanchero In the book it was a little more haunting... he didn't give the long list of family at first -- he just said his name was Aemon. And Jon says "Aemon... Targaryen?" It really caught me off guard when I first read the book.

I think the combination of "Frog's Theme" with the opening of "Johnny We Hardly Knew Ye" combined with that awesome bridge makes this the greatest song ever heard...

Wasn't the original written in the 1790s? I know there is some dispute... but I think that's part of what makes both versions interesting.

@rapidspit I've read all four books... the series has no protagonist. Eddard is treated as one up until the very last chapter he's in. Truth be told, I've always seen the "Song of Ice and Fire" series as fairly flawed... but you can't blame the mini-series for that. Honestly, there wasn't much...

@GlitzernBlutHure Yeah Jack was trying to step in repeatedly and Russell was pointing it out. A lot of times the guest stars have funny things to say but they get kind of gunshy if the other performers are stepping up.

@X3crazyidiot I'm not a big fan of Russell either. But Hugh is hilarious with voice-overs.
