RACING: Indoor Short Track on Dirt
HISTORY: The Historic OK Corral Indoor Arena is located just 15 minutes east of downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Racing began at the indoor arena on the red cushion type clay surface in 1971. Speeds up to 45 mph are typical for the high horsepower motorcycles nd Quads.
TYPE OF FUN: Good old fashioned family fun can be expected at the events. Be prepared to get some dirt sprayed on you in the up close bleachers near the front straightaway. Fans in the turn four bleachers enjoy the warmth of the old Pot Belly Wood Stove. Bring along a heavy coat, blanket, and small portable heater in the deep winter months. Spring and Fall, wear shorts.
