I want to add that I'm totally respectful of the artists's original works, which I love, that's why I use them.
MASH UP (Mash Uhp) : a creative combination or mixing of content from different sources. A remix that combines vocal and instrumental tracks from two or more recordings, to create a new musical sensation.
Generally, mashups/bootlegs consist of assembling 2 or 3 tracks: one acapella of an artist mixed with the instrumentals of anothers. But variations other than A + B + C can be found too.
The game is to find matching sources or odd pairing and improbable associations that can give unexpected and surprising results.
The goal is to have and give fun.
