ASSOCIATION OF KAZAKHSTANI STUDENTS IN GREAT BRITAIN

AKS-GB is a voluntary student organisation founded on the 7th of March 2009. Organisation is aimed at uniting all Kazakhstani Students in the United Kingdom.

Mission statement:
We are a new organisation that seeks to unite all Kazakhstani students with the purpose of pursuing a set of common goals.

We seek to develop healthy patriotism amongst the Kazakhstani students that are currently in full time education in Great Britain.

We aim to establish a strong organisation that will draw attention of the government of Kazakhstan and thus provide a framework by which the students will be able to voice their views on the issues of contemporary Kazakhstan and also participate in breakthrough and innovative projects.

Although links with the government are very important we seek to have no political affiliation with any polytical parties and thus remain independent.

We are here to help and support! We are far away from home and we ought to help each other out, be that legal advice or career advice, the Association of Kazakhstani Students will be there to help!

We seek to develop a dialogue between students, so that we can share great ideas and knowledge and help each other develop intellectually.

We are going to provide talented students with more opportunities by lobbying on their behalf with employers and other organisations. Whether you are an art student looking to host a picture exhibition or a talented mathematician unable to find appropriate employment, we will commit our resources to help, or refer you to the right people.

We aim to develop strong relationships with UK student societies, and make sure that Kazakhstani students take advantage of the international environment and are able to benchmark against good qualities and practices of other nations.

We are here to help you achieve healthy study/leisure balance during your education in the United Kingdom. We will host affordable and entertaining events!
