Quinn's POV:
I put the hair dryer down on the side, it feels good to be warm and dry again, but I still feel the same on the inside... Sam betrayed me, my parents abandoned me... the only person in my life I can rely on right now is Rachel... I open her wardrobe, pulling out a sweater and a skirt, I put them on. I look at my phone, lying switched off on the bed, I pick it up, pressing the on button, the screen takes a few moments to load, I read the screen "12 missed calls. 7 voice mails. 5 unread text messages" I don't even bother to listen to them... I know they'll all be from Sam... I sigh. And make my way down the stairs
Sam's POV:
Quinn yelling and leaving me is replaying over and over again in my head. I walk down the staircase slowly, her father glaring at me. Her mother's waiting at the door, and slips me the letter. I look into her eyes...
Quinn's Mom: Tell her... tell her I love her... and that I'm so sorry...
I take the letter from her and nod.
Sam: Thank-you.
I walk out the door, and don't look back. Now where the heck is Rachel's house?
Quinn's POV:
Rachel and I are sitting at her dinning room table, she's made hot coco, and I'm still crying... Rachel looks at me sadly.
Rachel: Quinn... Would you tell me what happened?
Quinn: You remember that night when I collapsed on the ferris wheel? Well the paramedics made me take a letter home to give to my parents. It said I was pregnant.
I'm surprised at how steady my voice sounds, because tears are still running down my cheeks. Rachel nods.
Quinn: In the car on the way home... Sam asked if I wanted to give them the letter. I-I said no. But, when we got home... he told them anyway.
Rachel's eyes soften, and I take a deep breath.
Rachel: Oh, Quinn...
Quinn: My parents... they kicked me out. While Sam was helping me gather my stuff... I told him I couldn't live with him. I said I was going to come live with you. Well, as long as it's okay with you...
Rachel stood up and hugged her best friend.
Rachel: Of course...
The doorbell suddenly rang.
Quinn: I think I know who that is...
Rachel gets to her feet and makes her way over to the front door. I hear Sam's gentle voice, begging, pleading Rachel to let him in, I listen to their conversation... and eventually she subsides. Sam makes his way into the room, his hands in his pocket, his blonde fringe pushed back carelessly as always, he sighs sadly, looking down at his feet, and then he looks up, meeting my eye
Sam: Quinn... I want to talk to you...
Quinn: Yeah well I don't think there's very much to say...
Sam: Quinn please!
Quinn: No Sam, I can't be dealing with it, not right now, I've got too much to deal with already
Sam: Quinn you're not the only one!
Quinn: No Sam, don't you dare, you are not the one whose parents disowned her, whose boyfriend betrayed her...
Sam: You're not the only one going through this Quinn, what happened to us being in this thing together, friends...
Quinn: Sam... I love you, but I can't handle this right now
Sam: Don't you understand Quinn? I'm in this thing with you, this baby is mine too
He stops, making his way over to the table, he sits down across the table from me, he carefully moves the mug of cocoa aside, he reaches out, and takes my hand, a part of me wants to pull them away again, but I also miss the comfort...
Sam: I don't know what you want to do with this baby, and I know this is a hard decision for you... but whatever you decide, I'm here with you, one hundred percent of the way
Quinn: Sam...
Sam: What? What is it?
Quinn: I know what I want to do with this baby...
Sam's POV:
Hearing her say those words, the words that will affect our future, our life, stops my heart.
Sam: Yes?
Rachel's POV:
After letting Sam in reluctantly, I went up to my room, deciding to leave them alone. They had a lot to talk about... I lay on my bed writing in my diary. Writing about Finn... about how I think he likes me, and I think we are in a relationship. About how all my dreams have come true... I flip onto my back. I have an amazing best friend, who's POPULAR and an almost sort of football player boyfriend whom I've loved since freshman year... Yeah, my life's perfect at the moment. I smile contentedly. I feel bad thinking this, but I can't help but be glad that I'm not Quinn... I love her, well as a friend, but I couldn't do that... I couldn't be kicked out and have a baby, have all this drama... I shake my head, poor Quinn...
