I mainly use YouTube to find out how to play new worship songs on the guitar and I must say I that I get sucked into conspiracy theories, so I watch those videos from time to time. IRL I am finishing my education and the ordination process for my denomination. My hope is to one day be a pastor when the door opens up but in the mean time I am ministering on my way. So, if you see me posting comments on vlogs about religion and God, understand that I have an invested interest and I am moved with compassion for those who are wandering away from God. I too was once lost. I take great care to make sure my words are as edifying as possible while not trying to prove my point of view beyond your own rationale. Yet, if we are honest with ourselves our cognitive minds only make up one fourth of our being. The fourth, our spirit, cries out for intimacy with God and nothing can fill that void but our Savior Jesus Christ. Read in the Bible the Gospel of John chapter 3, especially verse 16 and John chapter 14, verse 6. Let that sink in and receive Christ as your Savior, then "you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.' The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ..." Romans 8:15-17. Be encouraged in the Word. How do I know that there is a God? His Spirit tells me every day that I am His and that He is mine. It is a glorious beauty beyond earthly compare. A love that knows no bounds, it is a heaven that I already experience in part, but not yet, it's fullness is still yet to come in eternity. But I thank God for what I experience now and it creates a longing in me for what lies ahead. God is love. Peace.
