About this user
What is DCP (Dirty Cookie Productions)? Think of it as putting our own artistic touch to the ordinary college environment. DCP initially began with Steve, Caesar, Dean, Eddie, and Clint... but expanded over a year with five new additions in Denton, Raymond, Joe, Lucas, and Brian L. Tan. DCP continues to expand as we speak, adding several new people into the mix from different universities.
The urban definition of "dirty cookie" is a circle jerk game between fraternal organizations. The details don't really need to be discussed, but the concept of the dirty cookie game is a metaphor to represent our five years at UC Riverside. We're all different, but we're not all stupid. We've all made the Dean's List at one point in our college careers, and some of us even excel in different fields. This is a group of guys that just said that we've had enough and we're not going to conform to the lives of ordinary college students. That's not who we are.
Our pranks and our projects are basically a journal of what we've been through in the past three years. No other group of college students express their feelings the way we do. We're just trying to revolutionize UC Riverside as well as other college campuses by being ourselves... just like the students from the University of Michigan did. They've taken an entire campus by storm, and we salute them with the highest regards. Obviously, credit is to be given... not to be taken away from. That's what we do, what we've always done. If you've seen our videos, you can tell that people don't understand what we were trying to do. Before we became DCP, we've been pulling pranks like this without the cameras and the exposure. Personally, I wouldn't expect people to get our humor at first, but eventually, the general public began to realize what we were doing and supported it from then on.
Our hopes are to entertain the college students in Riverside by doing our pranks, filming, and making lemonade out of the lemons that we're given in life. We do this because we want to change the college environment. In reality, students are not paying attention in class at all. It's because they come into the lecture halls with the same mentality, and that sets their expectation level too low. This results in either not attending class, which will most likely lead to cheating on midterms or finals. We don't condone that kind of behavior, and we make sure that the students are going to get their mind into the classroom by at least having something to look forward to. We're trying to boost morale in the lecture hall so that kids won't have to resort to that shit, and actually want to go to class.
What we do is from the heart. DCP displays the sick twisted inner child within each of us, but we obviously do it for good reasons. It's all for you guys. We will never do anything to offend, violate, or gross out the audience. For all the people out there that support our movement, we thank you all. Shout outs to our influences and we promise that we'll keep doing what we do for years to come.
