Hi! I'm Lindsey. I have always been intrigued by the world of faeries, merfolk, pondlings, dragons, and mythical creatures. I grew up taking ballet and I always thought that it would be wonderful if my feet could just leave the earth as I danced. To fly with fluttery wings and wear woven spider's silk as my clothes. Well, living out a childhood fantasy of being a faerie was a little difficult. Other than dressing up, there wasn't much to it. I couldn't sprout wings and fly away (I couldn't even jump very high. Teehee!)

So I looked at my other beloved mythical creature - The Mermaid.

My first tail was nothing more than a towel pinned around my waist and two swimmie flippers. I nearly drowned trying to get from one side of the pool to the other!
Now I make my tails with a little more polish and function. Real aquatic animals inspire me and I try to incorporate their natural colors and personalities into my tails. I love sewing, sculpting, drawing, singing, dance and everything creative.

My ultimate goal is to make tails that are as realistic as possible but don't cost thousands of dollars and are thereby more affordable to the general public.
I charge different prices based on how much work I do on my tails but so far I've been able to keep the cost under $300 per tail.

A custom shaped monofin by itself would be $75.00
A basic mermaid tail without any decorative additions would be $200.00 (that includes the custom monofin)
Large paint jobs (whole tail) would add $50.00
Small paint jobs (like veins in the fluke) would add $25.00
To Add dorsal/pectoral/pelvic fins would add $25.00
