Billy Dec is an Attorney at Law and CEO/Founder of Rockit Ranch Productions, Chicagos Premier Entertainment Development Company, which specializes in the creation, development and management of top Restaurants like Rockit Bar & Grill (Best Restaurant 2008 RNA Awards) and Sunda (opening March 2009), along with the upscale lounge The Underground (Best in the US N&B Awards). Born, raised and still living in Lincoln Park/Lakeview Chicago, Dec attended The Latin School of Chicago, University of Illinois, Chicago-Kent College of Law, and is currently a student in the Owner / President Management Program at The Harvard School of Business. Dec most recently was nominated in 2008 for an Emmy Award for the NBC TV Show 24/7 where he was a Host and is actively involved in various Committees and Boards for non-profit organizations in Chicago including The American Cancer Society, Mrs. Daleys After School Matters, The Lookingglass Theatre Company and the Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee, just to name a few.
