Chief Police Officer's message in support of White Ribbon Australia

207 views 3 days ago
This Friday (25 July) is White Ribbon Australia's White Ribbon Night, a night that aims to put a stop to the prevalence and damaging impact of violence against women in our community.

White Ribbon Ambassador, Chief Police Officer for the ACT Rudi Lammers is supporting White Ribbon Night by raising money and awareness of the need to stop violence against women and children.

White Ribbon Australia works to prevent violence against women by changing the attitudes and behaviours that allow it to occur. This is done through primary prevention initiatives including programs in schools, workplaces and the broader community.

White Ribbon also observes White Ribbon Day each year on 25 November.
