About A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP)
A Christian Ministry in the National Parks embodies and extends the ministry of Jesus Christ through worship, witness, and the development of Christian leaders. Each summer we place college and seminary students in roughly 25 national parks across the U.S. to help people encounter God in the wonders of creation. Students lead weekly worship services for visitors and employees, work full-time for private concession companies, become leaders in their faith, engage in informal relational and cross-cultural ministry, and have the opportunity for endless wilderness adventures.
