Very cool and down to earth mayor who is still is the good hearted "Bubba Skinner".

So cool seeing Gunsmoke's "Festus" in action on a law enforcement show again.

Didn't mention, but another character I really grew to respect was the DA "Darnell". He was a big improvement over the DA that appeared in the 1st season. Darnell was tough, had class, and was the kind of guy anybody could strike up a discussion with.

@kmothersil -I had to dig up my photos of the trip. It was E60 #956. I also remember hearing, what to me, was the odd melody of its horn. I learned years later that the E60 horns were modified by Nathan Air Chimes, at Amtrak's request, and were call "Nathan P-01235" as one of Amtrak's managers...

Cool seeing John Saxon in this episode. He did a good job playing the android "Sloan" on "The Six Million Dollar Man" back in 73, when he and Lee Majors had an all out battle. Classic.

Always fond memories seeing these classic giants in action. Supposedly two are being preserved. I hope they'll run again on specials some day.

So glad to see these classic episodes. Even with a limited budget the cast did a good job. Jackson's portrayal of Captain Marvel is 1st class and down to earth. Never corny. A shame this show didn't have a much bigger budget for better special effects.

This was an enjoyable time for cool music talent. Notice Luther's outfit. During this period the "Miami Vice" look was very popular.

On time index 01:11, where the caption "duffle bag" pops up, from what I remember I believe railroaders refer to the engineer's bag as a "grip".

Tige Andrews! Captain Adam Greer is tough yet incredibly cool.

Also cool was that Ted Cassidy (Lurch from the Addams Family) narrated the show's title opening. Ted also provided the "roar" and grunt sounds of the Hulk, not Lou Ferrigno.

Bill Bixby was so versatile and he was one of those guys many of us that were kids, whether black or white, looked up to. Courtship of Eddie's Father, The Magician, and The Incredible Hulk. Smooth and cool. God rest him in peace.

@shawnmutant - Unfortunately the cost of building overpasses/underpasses, even small ones, nowadays can run into the millions. Ridiculous, yes, but now environmental impact studies, frequent inspections, liability issues while construction goes on, cost of materials/labor has made it financially...
