JA should not remaster their works. I've heard the remastered songs of other artists. They never sound the same. Accept time and live with the past. The choices of the artists at the time are the best. The art they created then is the best it could be.

Also, people with insomnia develop stomach problems. So, the alka-seltzer is another symptom of his physical decline as he gets mentally worse. At this point he hasn't decided to start buying guns yet.

When he says he can't sleep and stays up at night that's a type of paranoia. Also, without sleep over time it develops into PTSD. Later in the movie it shows him sleeping in his bed with all his clothes on even his shoes. That also is a PTSD symptom. Depression, no friends, or few. No real connec...

I'd just finished reading the book not long before I saw the movie. The idea stands up after all this time. He went looking for something better and ended up back where he started after all of his efforts.

This is what I thought of when I read about that Marine hit by a rubber bullet in Oakland yesterday. The picture of him on the ground reminded me of Kent State 1970.

Unlike now back during Vietnam there was a lot of pictures of the war. There was so much and they broadcast it so much on the news that I always associate the pictures of it with that time in my life. It just seemed like it would never be over.

My brother's history teacher in high school would just sometimes turn and walk out the door in the middle of class. Shrapnel had torn out so many feet of his intestines that when it was time for him to go he had to do it right then.

Me and my brother would have arguments with my father about Vietnam on what seems like every weekend about the war. We were in high school. Every evening on the "Nightly News with Walter Cronkite" in high school we would see these pictures with commentary by whatever news anchor was talking that night. I remember her from these little flyers posted on a bulletin board in the hallway outside the student store at Chaffey College. I didn't hear her sing till years later. I think it was for her to sing at Claremont Colleges. Chaffey was just a little JC back in '74
