Haha, you have the same exact damn birds that follow while you're plowing or chisel plowing. I guess you can't turn up a good meal when you see one. That guy in the Case with the planter looks like he's hauling total ass but I imagine I look like that too when I'm driving by at 25 mph

@jonamoen There's a drainage ditch there so usually we'll lift it up and work it up going "with the grain". Or occasionally if we're chisel plowing just leaving it bare. The theory is to keep it from filling in and helping somewhat in reducing erosion.

@sealteamnavy Not quite as big as it looks here. The long rounds there are 3/4 of a mile, the shorter ones are 1/2 mile. Overall the field is about a quarter section or 160 acres give or take a couple acres. Couldn't tell you how long it took, can never remember how long it takes to do these thin...

@Acal51 Thanks, I do appreciate the comment. I'd like to get more videos up especially when we're combining but the time demands don't really favor messing around with a camera especially when we're on corn and I'm hopping between the semi and grain cart all day. I really wish I would've been abl...

@9240ab You know I've never actually sat down and figured its fuel consumption out mainly because our fuel pump's gallon display doesn't work any more so its hard to say what we put in it for so many hours of work. From experience though, I will say its fairly fuel thirsty but we work it hard.

@jonamoen Haha, well don't blame you for not caring about autosteer. I like it for planting and spraying, let's you focus more on what you're doing. For tillage it works good but most of the time we're using our Versatile which doesn't have it. After an entire day chisel plowing one field with th...

@jonamoen Haha, I thought it was a chain my bad. Happens to the best of us. Not sure if it was on this video or Part 1 but I love the knitting/crocheting in the tractor. You'd have a hell of a good time with autosteer. Pretty sure you could get a whole sweater done or more per field. At least it'...

You know its always nice to see someone else pulling an old tractor with a chain and having it break, at least I'm not the only one haha. @cnhfarms I like it alot, it certainly gets the job done. The only complaints for it would be relatively minor, the only breakdowns being largely electronics-related. Otherwise it accomplishes anything we ask of it - planting corn, air seeding, cultivating, chisel plowing, stalk chopping, grainca...
