Adrian Borland is one of the most talented musicians who has ever lived, yet despite having a musical career spanning more than 20 years in 6 different bands he tragically never got the recognition or success he deserved.
His band The Sound were a criminally underrated act throughout the 80's, whilst they had some success with 5 albums they remained overlooked and never got enough exposure; partially down to the fact that they refused to compromise and cater to the mainstream audience despite being pressured by one of their record labels to do so. They never gave in.
