About ABIM Foundation
Since 1999, the ABIM Foundation has been working to catalyze improvements in health care by advancing medical professionalism.
The Foundation forges collaborative relationships with physicians and physician leaders, medical trainees, health care delivery systems, payers, policy makers, consumer organizations, and patients to foster a shared understanding of what professionalism means. The Foundation also engages with these constituencies to promote a definition of professionalism that embraces financial stewardship and accountability and to provide resources on how to adopt those tenets in practice.
