About this user

About us, rather. A Beautiful Friendship Productions is a combination of production companies under one roof, originally That of Nathan Willis' Donkey's Jawbone Productions, and Matt Aughtry's Handles Heroes productions. Nathan and Matt met in film class at the Fine Arts Center in the year 2004, during that time they produced on film together, a Weezer music video to "In the Garage" starring Matt as a loser without any luck. They then went on to attend North Greenville College together in the year 2005. After semester spent slacking off and watching more movies than most people watch in a year, the two got their act together and made the film "Five Minutes Later" to critical success. With Matt writing and acting, and Nathan shooting and editing, and the two sharing Directorial status, the team was unstoppable. Alas Matt decided to pursue his dream with an education at USC (that's South Carolina) and Nathan decided to stay behind and be THE authoratative voice on movies at NGC.
Upon entering the world of USC Matt created the TV show "The SC", a teen dramedy about the lives of 4 college students. The show soon brought a large number of other talented young media makers into the world of A Beautiful Friendship. To name a few Joe Worthen, Phillip Walker, A.R. Bryan, and Octavis Witcher.

Nathan has also kept busy back at ABFP's Upstate Base, as the Media head of BSU, and the producer of many short films for chapel, homecoming, and personal enjoyment. Nathan received a high honor when his production for homecoming warranted the "Best Skit" award of 2005. Nathan has received about half a dozen scripts from Matt which he plans to put into production, and the two recenlty finished shooting a film with the help of Eric Sorrell and Melanie Varner.

As the summer approaches look forward to many more videos coming out with the logo of "A Beautiful Friendship Productions" preceding.
