About this user
Born in a small town up in the mountains of Montenegro, and bred in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx, AARON MUSIC founder Harun Pejcinovic (Duke) has loved rock music all his life. He grew up listening to Led Zepplin, Foreigner, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Stix, and Bon Jovi (to name a few) and is now managing Argentinean Pop Rock Sensation, CHARLI. Duke always dreamed about having his own record label, and after working on a few projects with a good friend, the realization of his dream began coming to fruition as together they co-formed HITMAN ENTERTAINMENT, where as an executive, Duke worked with the likes of Usher, Jodeci, SWV, Divine, Soul 4 Real, and other successful artists. His hands-on experience was comparable to "a Masters Degree in the music business" and led him to open his own label AARON MUSIC on January 1, 2008. The first artist he has signed to the AARON MUSIC label is CHARLI. Winner of the prestigious Sony BMG "NUEVA ESTRELLA" Award, CHARLI is a tri-lingual force in rock music. With songs in English, Spanish, and Italian, the beautiful Argentinean songstress dubs herself as a female Kid Rock. "I see her as being the best international pop rock star of all time. And I see her being that for a very long time," says Duke. "She has a very unique sound and style and will go a very long way in this business."
