About Me:

I'm a movie person. I aspire to become a director in the near future. Some of my top favorite movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey, Pulp Fiction, Magnolia, Goodfellas, Boogie Nights, Reservoir Dogs, A Clockwork Orange, Scarface, The Shining, Mean Streets, The Departed, Fight Club, Saving Private Ryan, Sweeney Todd, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, The Godfather, Eyes wide Shut, The Pianist, The Deer Hunter, Children of Men, Fargo, Full Metal Jacket, Requiem for a Dream, Schindler's List, The Patriot, Edward Scissorhands, Apocalypse Now, Casablanca, Seven, 127 Hours, The Big Lebowski, Little Miss Sunshine, There Will Be Blood, Patton, Forest Gump and Jackie Brown. There are much much more, I wouldn't be able to list them all - those are just a few. Some of the greatest movies ever made(in my opinion) come from Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarentino, PT Anderson, Sergio Leone, Ridley Scott, Joel and Ethan Coen, Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton and Roman Polanski. It's never what a movie is about, it's how it's done.
Paul Thomas Anderson got a C in his film school and dropped out, but today is known as one of the greatest young filmmakers of this generation. Quentin Tarantino dropped out of his high school in the 9th grade to make movies, but despite doing so, he has an amazing IQ of 160 and makes some of the greatest crime movies ever. Martin Scorsese once said, "I find something very spiritual in movies" - well, so do I.

Cool channel. Our tastes seem to be very similar. I noticed you liked "Magnolia", which is my favorite film. I would recommend the series "Lost" if you hadn't watched it already. David Lynch is also a favorite of mine, including the series "Twin Peaks" (get the gold box edition), and pretty much all his films--especially "Mulholland Drive," "Wild at Heart," and "Blue Velvet." I would also recommend the 3 episodes of "Hotel Room" ('93) Lynch did for HBO (especially the "Blackout" episode with Alicia Witt and Crispin Glover), although it is extremely rare and only available on VHS.
