From one ex-brit to another: I'm going to start using your hold. You shoot a lot better groups than I do, and you do it for a lot longer (as the actress said to the bishop). After shooting one .44 Mag cylinder, my hand was hurting.

A friend of mine on an Alaskan fishing trip asked his guide why all the guides carried high powered rifles and not hand guns. He was told that you can carry a pistol but you need to file off the front sight. That way it doesn't hurt as much when the bear stuffs it up your butt!
