S&FS proudly presents the much anticipated recreation project that has been two years in the making: Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion; recreated like never before in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Countless revisions, re-builds, and updates to this sluggish project proved to be well-worth the time in the end. It wouldn't have been this good if I hadn't taken two years to finish it.
This video of the recreation will take you through the entire attraction "experience", from the queuing area to the exit, and includes the most recent additions to the Liberty Square Mansion; including the interactive queuing area and Hitchhiking Ghosts. Both on and off-ride shots provided a detailed look at each scene, so that you get the best views of each and every element. I hope you enjoy viewing the final result of two years worth of hard work.
This recreation relied heavily on countless custom scenery sets, including a few beta sets that are not, and will not ever be publicly accessible; made exclusively for this recreation. Over 100 different custom "Billboard" images were made specifically for this recreation, requiring hours of photo editing. The file is extremely large, and runs extremely slow due to the amount of detail. Therefore, I will not be offering the file as a download. Not only is it much more entertaining to watch this video version of it at a normal pace (without the lag that is present in the game) I can't release it due to a number of other factors:
1. I do not have the permission of the various CS creators to pass around their files, and many of the sets used in this recreation are no longer available to publicly download because the websites that carried the download links have since been discontinued, or haven't been updated in years, and are full of dead links.
2. I did not keep tabs on what CS I did and didn't use in the final recreation, due to the constant revisions, so I really can't be certain what CS sets are needed to open the file.
3. There are so many billboard effects, and without the exact path to the folder with the designated images, the billboards will all be blank "Frontier" logos. This would basically destroy the loading area, library, and endless hallway scenes just to name a few; which all rely almost entirely on this handy feature.
4. The feature only "works" on Windows XP; Because I am using Vista, I had to go through process in the Command Prompt to re-route the image files so they could be located and work in the feature; using command prompt can be a sure way to get the blue screen of death if you make one mistake, or don't know what your doing with it; I don't want anyone blaming me for messing up their computer if something goes wrong.
5. Many of the isolated music files used in the recreation are not ones I want to pass around at the moment. I am not permitted to pass around the isolated Constance Hatchaway audio loop via an agreement with those whom it was traded to me by.
6. The use of certain "particle effects" such as the Sea Captain's Bubbles can cause the game to crash completely if you forget to press pause when opening the scenery tab. Other particle effects, such as the "Scrimers" in the graveyard, are custom made, and not something I feel comfortable passing around the web.
So I'm sorry to disappoint anyone, but for the reasons above, I am not planing to offer the file as a download. I hope this isn't a huge issue. The video is originally all I ever planed to release anyway.

From 1964, here is "Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair" where Walt Disney talks about the history of the World's Fairs and of course a preview of the Disney attractions that are first appeared at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair where they include "It's A Small World, "The Carousel of Progress" and others. And then, Walt talks about Audio-Animatronics. All this and much more.
This was featured on the "Wonderful World of Color". Portions of the episode was shot in Queens, NY in the Flushing Meadows section where all the Disney characters and guests are arrived at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair.
The 1964-65 New York World's Fair was a 2-year exhibit and it was closed in 1965 to become what we know today as Flushing Meadows Park. It is located in Queens, NY. Shea Stadium where it used to be since it has been which is now Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets.
After the fair ended, the two big attractions moved to Disneyland and opened two years later in 1966. By 2008, they added Disney characters to the ride. So this is a classic attraction for all ages. I used to go to Disney World twice back in 1994, but I hope I'll share with you.
NOTE: This is a complete video for the first time ever on YouTube, and it is 38 minutes long. Enjoy!
