just gave the new release a listen and i have to say, its the creepiest and most progressive leviathan release so far in my opinion. its probably as good as massive conspiracy, which is great.

holy fuck! the vocals are just outstanding! the drumming and riffage are killers. I find it pretty shocking that he has been so fucking consistent throughout the years. He said that Black Metal will always be a reason for him to exist. The guy just never runs out of inspiration. Hails to the soul...

Only Xasthur's music makes me feels the presence of an unholy, unearthly, and torturous presence beside me.. No one is able to evoke such an atmosphere that crushing, and no one will ever be.

i just dont get it.. what proves that he is a hipster? and fuckyeah he's talented! and like you said he has a very deep understanding of BM. will always listen to his music.

Man the xasthur logo is by far the most artistic and most difficult to read, i tried so many times to dechipher it, especially that its my all time favorite band, but i just cant get even a single letter in the logo

@AFSOCbum i agree with you that BM conveys a certain message which has its significant impact, unlike any other genre in my opinion.. that dude didnt show any respect for most WITTR fans by saying that it's just music, and since im a WITTR fan, don't expect me to respect him then.

@evillurkswithinusall really??, cuz i remember reading one of his interviews, and there was a picture of a house resembling that house in the video exactly, so i thought this was his house. and if u know anything about his house i would like you to share it, please.

@AMpufnstuf they did change it man, but i LOVED the older logo much more, it was very mysterious compared to their current one. Plus that it made me check out the band in the first place.
