93 cents for Flight 93

93 cents for Flight 93 is a grass roots initiative - founded by the HALO Foundation of Akron, Ohio, partnering with The Flight 93 National Memorial Campaign to provide a memorial for the 40 heroes who, on September 11, 2001, sacrificed their lives to thwart a terrorist attempt to use their aircraft as a weapon.

Our intergenerational approach is twofold: Educate today's Youth on the principles of courage & valor displayed on Flight 93 and raise funds for the construction of this memorial. 93 cents for Flight 93 Campaign's goal is for every person to donate a minimum of 93 cents for this cause.Sacred ground since September 11, 2001, the permanent resting place of the passengers and crew members of Flight 93 will also be the site of the memorial.

With the help of dedicated individuals including educational leaders, the 93 cents for Flight 93 campaign strives to instill the ideals embodied in these 40 heroes across multigenerational lines, encouraging the wisdom of age and youth's energy to embrace the qualities that preserve our Nation, our world, our future.
