Our motto for the station this year will be Focus on Georgetown. This is not only our motto, but is also our commitment. We realize that there are many venues in which you can listen to music from commercial radio stations to your Ipod and that is why we are putting the Focus on Georgetown. WRVG is your only place to get live, local information pertaining to Georgetown.
While we will always be first and foremost a college station; we also recognize the fact that we serve the larger community of Georgetown and we want to focus on issues that are important to those not necessarily associated with the college as well. We realize that a Georgetown lacks a commercial radio station and we hope that WRVG can, at least partially, fill this void.
