your joking right?? buy a recalibrate unit for 150 bucks have it swapped out and its fixed. GM's are not a "PIECE OF CRAP" i own a 2002 Chevy cc sb 4x4 duramax also a 2004 GMC excab SB 4x4 both duramax/allison combo's i beat the living piss out of them on the farm and they hold up and mine never...

yes and no....you put big lines and big connector tubes on a VP truck it'll make it lope, but you dont have that luxuary on a 12v. in that case it does need a cam to lope, whether its in the injection pump or the motor...

fyi gm doesnt use their own motors...gm makes the the truck, ISUZU produces the duramax motor...so it sounds like you need to do your homeowrk..

hey just a bit of information for ya, 98.5 - 2002 trucks that had a cummins had whats called a VP injection pump (all electronic) vs the P7100 injection pump which was as you know all mechanical. just a bit of info for ya ;)

may not be running very high timing, and btw VE's dont run near as much a P7100's do. more or less that 14mm pump is just feeding the motor a substantial amount of fuel vs the origianl 12mm pump. use to own a couple, so go to know a thing or two while i had em :)

were you running EFI live when you took this video? cuz mid-high 12's is the norm now days with efi, lift pump, built trans etc...but none the less badass truck!

well i tell ya im pretty well broke too, but deals are out there...i just bought my 04 GMC EC SB 4x4 LLY dmax for 10 grand, it only has 143,000 miles on it, its been take care of. so the deals are out there ya just gotta find em ;)

is that the bosch stand alone or the zues tuning? im wanting a 3rd gen cummins that can keep up/ beat an efi live tuned d-max...can you give me some info on this set-up. thanks tater
