@dyockey Not quite. He didnt select idle thrust (first fuel detent). YOu would have heard the combustor light. What he did do was check the ToT and motored the engine, sucking in air to cool the combustor and lowering the TOT so that the subsequent start would be below the TOT limit.
And that was a more typical day. There could have been a storm there.
