About U.S. ARMY
Hey, I'm Eddie. I recently enlisted in the United States Army. Enlisted March 10th. I leave for Fort Jackson for BCT (Basic training) August 10th. From there I go to Fort Gordon in Georgia for 20 weeks. Total training will be about 7 months. Hopefully I get deployed ASAP. Its the men and women on the front lines and in the military that give you the rights we all take for granted. Finally accomplished my goal.

It's the soldier, not the reporterWho has given us freedom of the
press.
It's the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of
speech.
It's the soldier, not the campus
organizer,
Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It's the soldier, not the lawyer,
Who has given us the right to a
fair trial.
It's the soldier who salutes the flag,
Serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who gives the protester the right to burn the flag.
Next time you see a vetran or someone that is in the military take a second out of your busy day to say, ;Thank You; for what they are doing. I guarentee they will appreciate it. They are only risking their lives for you, no biggie...lol
For all the free people that still protest, your welcome. We protect you and you are protected by the best. Your voice is strong and loud, but who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd. We are your fathers, brothers and sons, wearing the boots and carrying the guns. we are the ones that leave all that we own, to make sure that your futuer is carved in stone. We are the ones that fight and die. We may not be able to save the world, well, at least we try. We walk the paths to where we are at, and make no other choice than that. So when you rally your group to complain, take a look at the back of your brain. In order for that flag you love to fly, wars must be fought and young men must die. We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear,if thats not respected we would rather stay here. So please stop yelling and put down your signs, and pray for thoes behind enemy lines. When the conflict is over and all is well, be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

March along, sing our song, with the Army of the free
Count the brave, count the true, who have fought to victory
We're the Army and proud of our name
We're the Army and proudly proclaim
First to fight for the right,
And to build the Nations might,
And The Army Goes Rolling Along
Proud of all we have done,
Fighting till the battles won,
And the Army Goes Rolling Along.
Then its Hi! Hi! Hey!
The Armys on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong (TWO! THREE!)
For where eer we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along.
