This has basically become my anti-racism channel. I grew up in schools having a black population of over 60% sometimes and it was during the height on the gang wars between the Bloods and the Crips. I'm pretty sensitive to racist comment against black people, because as a Metallica loving, guitar strumming white kid, i came to like the same music and the same slang black kids were using at the time to some extent and i did this at 2 different times. The significance of the fact that it happened at 2 different times is that it really hammered home the realization that rap, slang and all the mannerisms that seem dumb to many racists I learned at one point, then got away from, then re-learned at a second point. It was learned and became natural.

Time after time I saw the walls of distrust -and that "attitude" that racist people love to mention so much- melt away the very moment a black person realized i wasn't going to show them anything but kindness. You just have to wonder, after reading all this shitty-ass racist commenting on some videos, how does a black person know whos racist and whos just in a bad mood whenever they're out running an errand or something and how might that effect their attitude knowing they, their daughters, sons, brothers and sisters and parents have never done a damned thing wrong?
