I am an animator, and avid film watcher. My DVD collection is enormous and includes some very bad stuff, like Combat Zone, Dark Power, Axe, After The Sunset, Half Past Dead, Turkey Shoot and The Demon on the one hand, and some pretty good films, like The Rules Of Attraction, Terminators 1-4, original Dawn Of The Dead (uncut theatrical version- I think...), Planet Of The Apes (original), Thank You For Smoking, Robocop, Total Recall (finally!), Hurly Burly and Fahrenheit 9/11 on the other. I've seen some pretty crazy films like Irreversible, Red Road and Nil By Mouth, as well as some truly hilarious anime like Angel Cop (the English dub, which is just silly) MD Geist and also Violence Jack,
Urotsukidoji, Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent.

Other films, live again, although rather cartoonish in overall style, that I've seen, are Hollywood Cop and Samurai Cop, directed and written by some dumb idiot called Amir Shervan.

Then there's the films I can't remember my reaction to- like Apocalypse Now (redux version), Face Off and Kill Bill 1. Finally got a UK DVD of Pieces- which alas is bare
bones powdered down and recut with a chainsaw (in
other words, no special features to it- not even subtitles)

I also have some films on VHS including After The Fall Of New York (cut unfortunately) and Clash of the Warlords (title screen: Clash Of Warlords) as well as a fair number of John Woo films (A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, Hard Boiled, Face Off, Bullet In The Head) and quite a few David Lynch films too (Blue Velvet, Dune and Wild At Heart are the ones I can remember- I've seen The Straight Story as well)

I am autistic but don't play to the Hollywood or European stereotypes of it really. (I remember getting really annoyed by Rain Man and not having a very high opinion of these supposed aut dramas or whaever they were).

I live with a lot of cats which no, wont feature on my vids any time soon (there is one of Tim though). Training a cat to be camera friendly is impossible- they do what they want to do rather than what's best for them. Lydia, as in my cat Lydia, has had two lots of kittens and still can't get a clue how to behave. Basic point being you can't train cats to do things they don't care about.

Lately, I've been noticing a rise in the number of motivational
adverts and an immediate rise in the number of EU ads which all manage to make.... no points whatsoever.
